Children 12-23 months who received all basic vaccinations - Rural

All basic vaccinations coverage: Percentage of children who received specific vaccines at any time before the survey (according to a vaccination card or the mother's report). To have received all basic vaccinations, a child must receive at least:

  1. I.  One dose of BCG vaccine, which protects against tuberculosis;
  2. II. Three doses of DPT-containing vaccine (given as pentavalent), which protects against diphtheria, pertussis (whooping cough), and tetanus;
  3. III. Three doses of the polio vaccine, which protects against poliomyelitis; and
  4. IV. One dose of measles-containing vaccine (given as measles or measles/rubella), which protects against measles.
 

Sample is living children aged 12-23 months or age 24-35 months.
